Money only goes to the person's own bank account. Before any withdrawal they must pass a BVN or NIN check and a live selfie.
Is this tax deductible?
No. AbegNa is not a registered charity. Gifts on AbegNa go from person to person. If you need a charity receipt, give to a registered NGO instead.
What if a request is fake?
Anyone can report a request, and reported requests are frozen. If fraud is found before withdrawal, every giver is refunded.
Can I give anonymously?
Yes. You can choose to give anonymously, so your name does not show on the request.
Why not use GoFundMe for Nigerian causes?
